National League time is nearly upon us, and it’s at 2pm on Sunday 2nd February that the Green and Red season will throw in in earnest. Purely by coincidence, that happens to be the same day that Club ‘51’s first season will get underway in earnest!
So with that in mind, we invite all you Club ’51 members, your families, friends and anyone interested in joining us in our quest to cheer the boys on to victory in 2014 to come join us from 12.30pm in The Liffey Arms, Main Street where you can sup a 7up or a pint, meet up with fellow countypeople, old friends and new, hatch some plans for the year ahead and just have the craic before the game.
The Liffey Arms is just 100 yards from St. Conleth’s, and undoubtedly the very sight of the green and red army parading down Main Street in such vast numbers will strike terror into the hearts of the Lilywhites and give us the winning edge. Or at the very least, it’ll ensure that no-one gets lost on the way to the game.
So wear your jerseys, bring your flags, and come prepared to make a bit of noise and help us cheer the boys on to a flying start.
We look forward to seeing you there!
