Provincial Championships shall be played on a Knock-Out Format. A ‘Round Robin’ Format may not be used. The winners of the Provincial Championships shall qualify for the All-Ireland Championship Quarter-Final Group Stage.

Quarter-Final Venues
• Central Council granted deviation from Rule 6.28 for the 2019 Championship to allow for Phase 1 games to be home venues for the provincial champions, with Phase 2 games being in Croke Park.
• Phase 1 & 3, first team listed will have Home Venue & Phase 2 games will be played in Páirc an Chrócaigh.
• Home Venues shall be subject to approval by the Central Competitions Control. Committee and shall meet the criteria set down by the National Facilities/Health and Safety Committee.
