So here’s our first effort. Anne-Marie, I think, came up with this idea, and to be honest it’s something I could have used for a few years before I started getting regular lifts to games. So there’s no excuse anymore, Club ’51 are on the case!
If there’s anyone who can offer seats to one or more fellow fans without wheels, then comment below and leave some details about where you’re driving from, departure time and how many you are willing to take.
Needless to say, any passengers availing of this should throw the driver a few juice dollars to help with expense. Give a little, get a little!
In the next few days, we have a couple of trips around Mayo. Tomorrow, our senior lads play NUIG in Castlebar at 7pm. On Saturday, it’s onto Ballyhaunis for the U21 Hastings Cup game against Cavan at 2pm and to finish off a treble-header weekend, our senior lads take on IT Sligo in Charlestown at 2pm on Sunday. So if you’re stuck for a lift leave a comment!
Happy car pooling!

Hi guys, I’ll be travelling over to Castlebar tomorrow evening from Swinford. I’ll be leaving Swinford at 6 o’clock, if anyone is looking for a lift. I’d be able to bring 3.
Can I get a lift with you Mick?
For any Dublin based members, I was thinking of possibly organising a bus for some of the league games. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas about that, just let me know. Adrian
Hi Adrian, we might try and gauge this weekend if there’s any appetite for the bus idea! See you on Sunday 🙂
